What are your opening times?
Pacifica Cantonese is open from 5.00pm Tuesday to Saturday with the kitchen closing at 10pm on Tuesday to Thursday and 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights. On Sundays we open from 1pm to 10pm. Please do note that we are closed on Mondays. Our popular early dining option is available from 5.00pm (with orders being placed by 7.30pm).
Our Sky Lounge operates on an open bar basis for larger groups to enjoy a drink with a view over the balcony – ring up and ask for Max for more details.
What type of food do you serve?
As Manchester’s premier Cantonese restaurant we serve classic Cantonese favourites often with a modern twist to enhance the delicate favours. Our food is always made from the freshest ingredients and cooked to order. The atmosphere is welcoming, the décor stylishly and the ambience relaxed.
Do you do pre-theatre dining?
Yes we are a popular Manchester pre-theatre dining choice for Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays with easy access from junction 2 of the M602 and convenient parking to the rear of the building. We open from 5.00pm – simply let your server know and we will ensure your meal is served in good time.
How far are you from Old Trafford?
We are a 10 minute drive from Old Trafford football stadium and a popular pre / post-match restaurant option. Please check our opening times to ensure we are open.
When is the Early Dining special available?
Our popular 3 course Early Evening special is served from 5.00pm, orders need to be placed by 7.30pm Tuesday to Friday.
Do you have sharing dinner menus?
Yes Cantonese food is made for sharing we have a selection of banquet menus including the popular Seafood Banquet Menu. Ask your server for details on arrival.
Are you open for Sunday lunch?
Yes on Sundays from 1pm until 10pm we offer a popular Family Special where you can eat as much as you. Enjoy table service whilst you order as much as you like from the 3 courses available. Two hour dining time is applicable.
Are vegetarian options available?
Yes, we have a range of vegetarian options available with every course.
Can you cater for food intolerances and allergies?
Yes, we have a special selection of gluten free dishes available. For other allergies please ask your server who will be pleased to assist you.
Is the restaurant child-friendly?
We welcome all families in the restaurant.
Are you wheel-chair accessible?
Yes we have a ramp to allow easy access to the restaurant. Please call ahead on 0161 707 8828 so we can make your visit as hassle free as possible.
Please note that the Sky Lounge Bar is situated on the first floor above the restaurant and is only accessible by stairs

Yes we are situated alongside the Eccles train station and the Eccles Interchange tram stop is within a short walking distance
Do you sell Gift Vouchers?
Yes we sell gift vouchers, available for minimum £10 and in denominations of £5. Do pop in to purchase.
Do you have WiFi?
Yes we have WiFi available for our guests to use.
How do I make a reservation?
You are able to make a booking through our website, email (team@pacifica-cantonese.co.uk) or telephone 0161 707 8828. For reservations on the same day, please ring up for live availability.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash and most major debit/credit cards
Is Pacifica Cantonese and Sky Lounge Bar available for private hire?
Yes, we regularly host corporate functions and private functions including weddings, special occasions (50th birthdays, anniversaries) and christenings. For private hire of the Sky Lounge a minimum weekday spend of £400 is required for private usage and £800 minimum spend for Friday & Saturday nights. The chef can create set menus on request. Perfect for launch events, networking or corporate get-togethers.
Are larger parties catered for?
Yes, we specialise in catering for groups of up to 100 comfortably for a sit down in Pacifica Cantonese. Our stylish spacious restaurant on the ground floor with its warm ambience is ideally placed just off junction 2 of the M602 in the heart of Eccles. We offer either dim sum, banquet sharing menus or a la carte menus – for more information on availability and quotes please call us on 0161 707 8828
Do you have live music at Pacifica Cantonese?
Not regularly although on the occasion we may have live music. Please like our Facebook or follow us on Twitter to be kept informed.
Is parking available?
Yes there are a number of public car parks options around Eccles town centre. The closest one is to the rear of the restaurant St Marys. After 6pm it is free to park (although first 30 minutes are free so you could park at 5.30pm for free if you were dining early). Parking is also free on Sundays in St Marys carpark.
